چکیده

Background: The optic nerve damage with the ultimate loss of vision resulting from a clutch diseases named Glaucoma. In many conditions including, corneal dystrophies, edema, and endothelial cornea, important biometric is Central thickness (CCT). Objective: To find difference in mean CCT spectral-domain optical coherence tomography ultrasound pachymetry patients presenting Material & Methods: study design opted was observational cross-section. done tertiary care hospital. A total 180 were registered for present study. Both techniques noted value all patients. Once data collected, it stored electronically analyzed by using SPSS version 20.0. Results: 40.00±11.50 years average age There 89(49.44%) males 91(50.56%) females. 531.01±28.54µm on OCT 530.01±29.74µm USP. 3.93±3.13µm between statistically insignificant (p<0.05). Conclusion: USP spectral domain Keywords: Glaucoma, Optical Coherence Tomography, Corneal Thickness.

Differences in Central Corneal Thickness between Spectral Domain-Optical Coherence Tomography and Ultrasound Pachymetry in Patients with Dry Eye Disease

Purpose. To compare central corneal thickness (CCT) values via Spectral Domain-Optical Coherence Tomography (SD-OCT) and ultrasonic pachymetry in patients with severe dry eye disease (DED) to determine the level of agreement between these 2 methods. Methods. The paired samples t-test was used to compare CCT values in severe DED patients. Matching analysis between methods was performed using int...

Central corneal thickness measurements with optical coherence tomography and ultrasound pachymetry in healthy subjects and in patients after photorefractive keratectomy.

PURPOSE To compare central corneal thickness measurements made using two different methods, optical coherence tomography (OCT) and ultrasound pachymetry, applied both in normal eyes and in eyes on which photorefractive keratectomy (PRK) had been performed. A second objective was to assess the intrasession variability of OCT measurements. METHODS In this prospective study, central corneal thic...

Comparison of central corneal thickness measured with anterior segment optical coherence tomography versus ultrasonic pachymetry.

PURPOSE To compare central corneal thickness measured with anterior segment optical coherence tomography (AS-OCT) and ultrasonic pachymetry (UP). METHOD A prospective, observational and cross-sectional study was performed. The central corneal thickness was measured in 112 eyes of 112 consecutive patients with AS-OCT and UP. All examinations were performed by the same examiner. The measurement...

Comparison of optical coherence reflectometry and ultrasound central corneal pachymetry.

In 50 eyes of 25 patients we prospectively measured the central corneal thickness (CCT) comparing the OLCR (Optical Low Coherence Reflectometry) pachymeter with the contact ultrasound pachymeter. The OLCR system was mounted on to a Haag-Streit slit lamp. Every single measurement was the result of 5 scans. With the contact ultrasound Sonomed pachymeter we performed 5 separate measurements and ca...

Central corneal thickness determined with optical coherence tomography in various types of glaucoma.

AIMS To evaluate central corneal thickness determined by optical coherence tomography (OCT) in various types of glaucoma, and its influence on intraocular pressure (IOP) measurement. METHODS Central corneal thickness (CCT) was determined by using OCT in 167 subjects (167 eyes). 20 had primary open angle glaucoma (POAG), 42 had low tension glaucoma (LTG), 22 had ocular hypertension (OHT), 10 h...
